Travel back in time to where Root Beer Floats and Ice Cream Sundays were all the rage. To a place where hit songs played on the jukebox all day long. This ad series promotes Joe’s Ice Cream Parlor with hit songs from the 1950s. Illustration, typography, and textures were all hand-made to bring the viewer back to a time when ads were illustrated by artists. Pastel colors bring to life the traditional color scheme one would see in a small town malt shoppe. The distressed texture mimics an aged poster that has been through the test of time.
